• Consultation about what you and your instrument needs.​

​

• Complete measurements, evaluation, and documentation of your instrument. A full accounting of all measurements pre- and post-completion. This includes String height action at the 12th and 17th fret, nut height, nut width, nut slot height/ depth at first fret for each string, fingerboard & saddle radius, saddle height/s, relief, string spacing at nut and bridge, string tension, pickup heights, pickup output DC resistance, instrument weight, all other specs and provenance of the instrument (if available) with paperwork provided.

• ​Preliminary Strobe Intonation.

​

• Strobe Intonation for positioning of a floating bridge (Arch-top floating bridge). 

​

• Bridge feet sanding to match top contour once intonation position is established (Arch-top floating bridge).

​

• Straighten neck for pre-setup fret measurement and leveling.

 

• Block dress.

​

• Bevel fret ends to 23° & 3° 

​​

• Multi-stage full dress of the fret ends to the smoothest degree possible.​

​

• New nut, compensated nut (if needed, the work is included in this package, but the nut material is not included in the price. There are many great options).

• Nut height adjustment/ shim for optimal action (if needed).

​​

• Set String height at the bridge/ saddles for optimal action.

​

• Adjust & radius the bridge/ saddles to the fretboard radius.

• Tighten any loose hardware (especially tuning machines that have a screw in the top of the tuning button).

• Lubricate tuners with synthetic oil.

​

• Tighten pots & output jack.

 

• Check continuity of the shielding and grounding (If there is an issue that is simple, fix included, if not, additional costs may. apply, but I will speak with you first).

• Check all electric components and solder joints.

​

• De-solder and re-solder bad or suspicious solder joints in the electronics (If needed).

​

• Simple electronic fixes included.

​

• Output Jack upgrade, work included (Please see below for Electrosocket Jack in add-ons).

​ 

• Any plastic left-over stuck in the screw holes eliminated (If you are as fastidious as I, you know exactly what I mean).​

 

• Clean all cavities.​

​

• Treat pots, switches, potentiometers, jack, and all electrical contacts with deoxit d5.

​

• Detailed multi-stage cleaning of the entire instrument.

​

• Detailed multi-stage polishing of the entire instrument.

​

• Detailed multi-stage cleaning of the hardware.

​

• Hardware cleaned, ultrasonic cleaning for some or most of hardware depending on the hardware type and condition, or per your wishes - this includes mild - moderate corrosion cleaning/ removal. (if there is extensive corrosion that you want removed, additional charges may apply, we will speak first).

• Detailed hand polishing of the hardware.

​

• All adhesive residue cleaned (if applicable).

​

• Small sticker/s safely removed, if so desired (if applicable) For more extensive or numerous sticker issues, additional charges may apply, but I will speak with you first.

• For instruments with additional strings, i.e. 7-String Guitar, 5-String Bass Guitar, etc. please add $5 per string.

• Stainless Steel frets, please add -  $25 per neck.
