Tuning Machine Upgrades for Electric & Acoustic Guitars

Upgrading and expertly installing your instrument's tuners is one of the most significant upgrades to elevate your instrument's performance. Employing premium materials, exemplary design, high-ratio tuning gears, and precision locking mechanisms contribute significantly to augmenting your instrument's tuning precision and tuning stability. In tandem with better tuning precision and stability, you will notice a discernible refinement in both the tactile feel and the tonal character of your instrument.

Bridge, Tailpiece & Tremolo Upgrades for Electric Guitars

Another significant upgrade is an upgrade to your bridge, tailpiece, trapeze style tailpiece, or tremolo system. Hardtail includes any bridge and tailpiece system without a tremolo such as; Les Paul style, Telecasters, hardtail Stratocasters, bridge w/ tailpiece, wraparound bridges, bass guitar bridges, etc.

This is for "drop in" hardware, hardware that is transplantable. I am not currently equipped to install a completely new system that requires extensive routing or drill pressing. For example, a Bigsby install on a Telecaster, or retrofitting a Floyd Rose system on a Stratocaster.

Acoustic Guitar Bridge Pins

Bridge Pin upgrade installation includes the Basic String Change & Spruce Up Package

Bridge pin upgrades can make a huge improvement of your guitar's tone and sustain. Even if you have a budget acoustic guitar, swapping out those cheap plastic bridge pins for pins made of better materials will do wonders. Materials such as; Ebony or other hardwoods, Bone, Graph Tech TUSQ, Ivoroid (Imitation Ivory), Mammoth Ivory, even high-end metallic, just to name a few. Fortunately, quality Bone, Ebony or TUSQ pins are not hugely expensive. Proprietary high-end acoustic guitar pins (like Martin) are indeed expensive, but if you have one of those instruments, likely there is no need to swap them out.

Install new bridge pins adjusted for proper fit - $60
